VW Touareg name is inspired by a nomadic people living in North Africa, last year got a new design, which was part of the muscle attraction worth seeing, adding more detail and car-like appearance smoother in general. The grill and front end are now more as a line of VW passenger car and a body of forces slightly wider than the print. Functionally, a slight increase in wheelbase and length inside helped spur a little, but the interior remains the same - with a high seating position, a more upright than most of the crossings, and a console high, the center of everything.

Located at the top of the line VW Touareg five seater racing luxury crossovers like the Lexus RX, Mercedes-Benz GLK-Class and Lincoln MKX. It comes with a choice of three V-6 engines: a traditional gas V-6, a turbo diesel V-6 and V-6 gasoline-electric hybrid power train.

The 2012 Volkswagen Touareg is a five-seater mid-size SUV available in four trim levels: Sport, Lux, Executive and Hybrid. All but the hybrid can be taken both petrol V6 ("VR6") or turbo diesel (TDI) V6 power.

Some of the most obvious lines of SUV language weakened and refined car-like style, the latest Volkswagen Touareg no longer looks lumpy and awkward. It is very sophisticated, in fact, and has a walk that anyone who has been the most luxurious inner glow-budged SUV. The Touareg cabin is quite conventional. Climate controls include a large screen in the center and the address is in the same controls as those found in the Golf and GTI. An eight-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive are standard on all 2012 Volkswagen Touareg. The VR6 versions have a 3.6-liter V6 engine produces 280 horsepower and 265 lb.-ft. of torque does. TDI versions have a 3.0-liter turbo diesel V6 produces 225 horsepower and a prodigious 406 pounds-feet of torque. The Toureg Hybrid is equipped with a supercharged, direct-injected 3.0-liter V6 mated to an electric motor. The two combine for an impressive 380 horsepower and 428 lb-ft of torque, enough to generate this Touareg to catapult from zero to 60 mph in just 5.8 seconds, according to Edmunds tests.

The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) gives the Touareg Top Safety Pick award, which means that "good" ratings in all relevant evidence received. However, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) has not re-tested the Touareg since the redesign. 2012 Volkswagen Touareg all comes with ABS disc brakes, stability control and traction for hill-hold assist, front seat side airbags and full length curtain airbags.
