2013 Porsche 911 Carrera 4 Coupe and Convertibles
This new version of the German sports combines high performance and efficiency of its seventh generation with the advantages that give the all-wheel drive of the brand.

The new release, which is available in its modes 4 and 4S (both in coupe and Canvertible), has the same technical configuration that its rear-wheel drive model. Lightweight design, suspension, engines and their transmissions are the same, with the difference related to the AWD. This result in a saving of 16 percent in consumption and a reduced weight of 65 kg compared to previous Carrera 4.

As for aesthetics, the most prominent element of the body is its rear section, which shows a widening of the wheel arches on each side of 22 mm and 10 mm in the tires on the rear-drive model. It also has a different design in the red band that connects the headlights. Porsche offers an optional sliding glass roof for the coupe.

The 3.4-liter engine and 350 HP of the 911 Carrera 4 coupe allows you to go from 0 to 60 mph in 4.3 seconds (4.5 in Canvertible) and reach a top speed of 177 mph (175 Canvertible).

Furthermore, the 4S equips a 3.8-liter boxer drive and 400 HP that allows an acceleration of 0-60 in 3.9 seconds (4.1 convertible) and a top speed of 185 mph (183 canvertible). All models come standard with a seven-speed manual transmission as an option and are offered with a seven-speed PDK.

As a novelty, the dashboard has information on how the PTM system distributes the force to each wheel. You can also add to the package Adaptive Cruise Control system.

The debut of the Porsche 911 Carrera 4 will take place at the Paris Auto Show and will be marketed in early 2013. The price of the coupe will be $ 91,030 (4) and $ 105,630 (4S) and the convertible will be $ 102,930 (4) and $ 117,530 (4S).
