2014 BMW Z4 roadster
The new edition of this sporting includes exterior and interior modifications that give it a broad appeal and a higher degree of individualization.
The update of this model continues the legacy started 25 years ago by the BMW Z1 and holds an image that combines sportiness with classic proportions.
To drive the BMW Z4 Twin turbo are three different engines: a four-cylinder and two six-cylinder. The first is a 2.0-liter capable of producing 240 HP and 260 lb-ft of torque; this allows an acceleration 0-60 mph in 5.5 seconds with the six-manual and 5.6 seconds with the automatic eight. The sDrive35i model equips the Twin Power Turbo 3.0-liter 300 HP and 300 lb-ft of torque, this power plant is 0 to 60 in 5 seconds with the 7-speed DCT (5.1 with manual six). And the most powerful, installed in the Z4 sDrive35is, eroga 335 HP and 332 lb-ft of torque, the latter engine is coupled to the 7-speed DCT and reaches 60 mph from standstill in 4.8 seconds.
The driver of the BMW Z4 may choose between three driving modes: Comfort, Sport and Sport +, which adjust the transmission response, system stability and stiffness of the dampers.

In terms of design, the Z4 responds to the lines and proportions that characterize the German roadsters and brought him so much success. This is how it shows its attractive bonnet, long wheelbase and a low waistline and other features. The roof is removable by a button in just 19 seconds and a top speed of 25 mph, is housed in a compartment on the back of the BMW Z4 (comes in two colors that contrast with the rest of the body: Jet Black and Titanium Silver metallic). In addition, the car features LED lights, 11 colors available among which the Hyper Orange package, new alloy wheels and M Sport Package (M revised suspension, 18-inch wheels M design, larger air intakes; seats and sports steering wheel, leather shift knob and new indicators among others).
Inside the car we found a combination of orange and black that dominates the interior. It also shows the use of Alcatraz in some endings and leather seats. Optionally you can opt for a premium sound system 14 speakers, a satellite navigation system with 8.8-inch screen and multimedia disk 12 GB.
The assistance systems are numerous and among them are the High Beam Assistant, parking distance control with sensors and internet providing information in real-time traffic and other services.
The 2014 BMW Z4 will be available in spring 2013.
